Rebecca's Back!

My name is Rebecca, I'm seventeen and from Ohio! This is my third year doing Keeners and I am psyched to be back! I've never seen the water at this level and it's been awesome to be seeing some different rapids and surf new features that are in at this level. I have so much I want to try and accomplish the next three weeks. Even though Its only been a few days into the session I already know theres been some improvement. Ive gotten some really good surfs, some intentional and some....definitely not intentional, but they were always fun.  I improved my offside lean cleans already and I'm hoping to keep improving them. Today was race day and we did a boatercross on Lower No Name. The first heat, I was in the top three and made it onto the second heat for the A group. The second heat I didn't do quite as well so I didnt move on to the final heat, so instead I cheered on everyone competeing in the final heat. Honestly. I had a blast and cannot wait for the rest of the three weeks.
