My name is Tom Schwartz, and this is my first year at Keeners. Yesterday was my first day on the Ottawa River. I surfed Babyface, Push Button, and Garberator. I really liked Babyface, except for the line and waiting for the rafts to go. I am really looking forward to Big Water Beatdown Thursday because I want to see how well I can do in the big water. I would also like to work on my flatwater skills and flat spins.

I have already become friends with Isaiah and Pablo who are in my cabin in Whitehouse. I am really looking forwards to my next three weeks on the Ottawa and with the Keener Program.
