What A Live Bait System is -Ben

A live bait rescue is when you jump into the water tethered to a rope to save someone swimming or stuck in the a hole. A live bait rescue requires 2 or 3 people to set up. The 3 people it requires is the belayer, the live bait (the person who jumps) and the rope manager. The belayer holds the rope and make sures the person who jumps in gets the swimmer and the live bait back to shore. The live bait jumps into the water to get the swimmer. the rope manager manages the rope and makes sure that the rope does not get tangled and once the live bait gets to the swimmer he goes to the belayer and supports to make sure that they do fall into the water.

The parts required for a live bait rescue is a quick release harness. This is important in the event that the rescuer has to break clear from the rope. A rope or a throw bag because the rescuer needs to be attached to something.

A live bait rescue is quite easy to setup and it really useful it used right.
