All of my kayaking friends were very jealous that I was going to spend three weeks on the Ottawa kayaking with some of the best boaters in the world. I was very excited, but also very nervous. After being here for a week I have realized that there was no need to be nervous. Everyone is super nice and the coaches are awesome.
The first couple days I was trying to get to know everyone. By Wednesday I was ready for race day and beat down Thursday. Race Wednesday was my favorite day. All the races were super fun, especially the ridiculous races. Beat down Thursday was also very fun. Between surfing baby face on a SUP and doing legs out to the take out down Garb it was very fun. I am super excited for the rest of camp especially the next race Wednesday.
