Race Wednesday - Albert Binkley

Race Wednesday is a special day at Keeners. A time to push yourself as well as your friends. A time to truly know speed. We split into groups, a mix of fast and slow but which is which you won't know. We all are waiting for that one moment where your coach shouts "GO!". As you slide off the rock whether it be in a relay, head to head, or timed race you have one thing in your mind and that is to try to place. As the race starts you'll soon see which keener is the one to beat. Though it's friendly we all compete for the satisfaction which is winning the meet. When you finish your race you know what you've done. You went on the river and you've had fun. You may not win, but you truly have won when you giggle and smile because you had fun.
