The B.F.R (big friendly rock) - Lotte

On the main channel of the Ottawa there are amazing and different features including awesome rapids, whirlpools and surf waves but one of my many favourite things about the main is the B.F.R. This awesome jumping rock is about 4 metres high and just around the corner from butchers knife. The water below it is really deep and perfect for jumping in. On the first week of Keeners we went to the B.F.R it was super fun we jumped and seal launched off the drop. This week we went back and since then the water had dropped about a 5 and a half feet so the jump went from 4 metres to 5 metres, now the B.F.R was bigger and better than ever:) Everyone doing tricks off the rock that scared them like flips, spins and foot grabs. The trick i find most fun is the backflip. I like it because when you jump off you can spot your landing and free fall for a few seconds, its awesome! The B.F.R is an incredible rock for all sorts of things, and is one of the coolest jumping spots i know of:)
