ready set go!

On race day Wednesday last week we all competed in a whole lot of races. the biggest and longest relay race I have ever competed in. The race was held at macoy chute. In this race there were four teams each team had four people. The first person of each team started the race on the island. Ready! Set! Go! they were running as fast as possible to get to the top of the island where there boats were waiting. When they got to the top of the island they hoped in there boats and paddled over to the opposite shore where the number two racer was waiting. When the number ones got there they tagged the number two who then took off and paddled as fast as they could to number three. Number three had to be tagged below phils hole then they would run up to an eddy where there boats were. There weren't many of places for the number two to tag number three. There was a big eddy where everyone was, except for me. One of my team-mates thought that I should stand right after phil's hole so as number two was coming down they could tag my hand and it worked great. He tagged my hand way before everybody else tagged their team-mates hand. When he tagged my hand I ran as fast as I could to my boat. When I got to my boat I paddled As fast as I could to get to number four. On the way across the river I got stuck is Phil's and lost my paddle I thought I had to swim but luckily I flushed out of the hole but I still didn't have my paddle I looked around for it and saw it floating away. I hand paddled as fast as I could and finally got it. Then I paddled as fast as I could to the football eddy where I tagged number fours hand and he paddle to the finish line. I was so tired but we were on to the next race. Ready set go!
