The Big Water Beatdown Guide, the Best and the Worst | Liev Mitchell

Every Thursday us Keeners get destroyed as much as possible, here are some of the best spots, and the worst spots, to get destroyed in at around the 0 foot mark.

Mcoys:

Satlers:
Pros: Absolutely savage, usually shorter, sets you up for the triple crown.
Cons: Steep, Hard to control

Left Side Phil's:
Pros: Easier to control, shoulder is good for wave tricks like pistol flips and Blunts and the fluffier
part is good for hole tricks.
Cons: Harder to catch, easy to flush on.

Right Side Phil's:
Pros: Stout, makes you look cooler, very sticky.
Cons: sometimes long and exhausting, causes some skirts to implode, easy to swim out of.

Left Side Horseshoe:
Pros: Great for loads of hole trick, not too sticky but you can still stay in if you roll up quick.
Cons: A little to flushy.

Right Side Horseshoe:
Pros: Fun at higher water
Cons: Steep Shallow and not fun

The Lorne:

The Pour-over at garb:
Pros: The single best beat down spot, can be savage but easy to regain control, easy to get out of if
you know what you're doing, retentive.
Cons: retentive :)

Center slot:

Center slot hole:
Pros: savage and brutal.
Cons: not the most fun spot.

There are still a few more but I'm sure you'll find them.
