Being at Keeners never gets old, no matter how many times you have
been there. It is impossible to get bored, whether it be learning new things on the water, or telling dirty jokes in the cabins.
However, there are a few tips that I would give to maximize your level
of stoke on and off the water:
- Always film every day
Filming every day can help you get every moment. Do not wait until
the last minute to scramble to get footy— everyone has already had their
great moments by then.
- Be friendly to everyone
If you are nice to people, people will be nice to you, which will
make your Keener session much better. Also avoid gathering into isolated
groups and include everyone.
- Take advantage of your amazing coaches
At Keeners, some of the best paddlers from around the world come to
coach you, so get involved and ask them for tips and tricks on whatever
you might be learning. You must do your part, too.
