Going Sky High - Patrick Kyle

How to get a huge air blunts - warning, you will fall on your face, A LOT. I have followed this guide and it seems to have worked well over the last week.

1) Assuming you are comfortable on the particular wave you are surfing, make you way to the very top of the foam pile, to get to the very top you may flush, if you don't - you aren't trying hard enough.

2) Keep looking upstream (something I forget) and edge hard on one side just before hitting the green water. When I say edge, I mean it, edge all the way over, fall on your face. The more you edge, the higher you go. It's better to fall over a lot but go high than be able to roundhouse on both sides, and it's more fun.

3) Still looking upstream switch edges edging just as much as before. Your bow will skip up and fling the stern up over you head. Push down on the inside paddle blade levering the back down.

4) Add a quick back stroke going all the way from the front to the back. This will flatten of you end and you won't flush. The harder this back stroke is the higher you can get away with going.

5) DONE!

The more you flush or the harder you hit the water, the better it will work once you get it...good luck.
