Quinton's First Blog Back

Phils Hole!!! 

Suuuuuuup? Hey everybody its Quinton! I'm 15 and I'm from Beachburg Ontario. I literally live like 10 minutes away from keenerville! Today was the notorious Big Water Beatdown Bacon Thursday! We got all the keeners to challenge themselves in way they don't normally do. It was sick! I started off my day with a dope right side Phil's surf. The surf started with a paddle in my hands but by the end I had thrown it away. Many of the other keeners had done lines and surfs they had never done before and it was awesome to watch them scare themselves in a good way. There were a few swims today but it was okay because today is the day were nobody is really going to care if you swim. We all learnt many lessons about safety and how important it is in the sport of kayaking.

Well I'm going to head out. It is Edwards night to pick on activity and we are watching a movie! Have a lovely day and you stay classy San Diego ;).

Quinny's second blog!

Getting my Blunt at Garb. 

Heeey everybody! Quinton here with my second blog. This week has been sweet! We surfed garb a lot on Monday and Tuesday. I got a couple air screws and was pretty happy with that! Before this week we all heard that Ben Marr was coming to teach and we were all mad stoked! Its been amazing having him here helping us learn tricks that we have been working on for a while. Today was Big Water Bacon Beat down Thursday! I surfed left side Phil's once and right side Phil's twice! On my second right side run after way through the surf I threw my paddle behind me and hand surfed it! I thought it was pretty dope! Well we are about to go watch a movie so I am going to go! Quinton's Back....

Suuup? This is Quinton's first blog of the season. I'm here all summer

so you will hear a lot from me! So far keeners has been sick! I came a

few days late (yesterday) and everyone has already been nice and I've

made some new friends. Today was big water beatdown bacon thursday! I

hand surfed Phils hole twice and got beatdown both times! It was

pretty dope!! Then today I surfed garb and got my first right blunt! I

was pretty pumped, so I tried an airscrew and failed hard! Later in the

day I surfed in the pour over at center slot and beat down hard again.

So all in all today was insane and I'm ready for many more to come!
