Learning on the wave (Marshall)

Today started well, I did my first descent of garburator which went well until the little wave after the garb through me off rhythm and flipped me. After garburator we went down to moustache wave which yesterday held my first surf since the beginning of the season. We spent a load of time there figuring out the feature and it’s entry and exit there was a lot of flips and a couple swims but, a lot of progress. Around me my peers were getting their tricks down at first the spins and then much later the blunts. Today is only my 7th day in the wave and my second in a play-boat so it was odd for me to figure out the waves spots and boundaries. Before lunch I got my first spin in the wave which I was stoked about. After lunch we continued surfing moustache which yielded my best surf ever, which was a continuous surf with two spins before I dived my bow in the water. After my eventful surf on moustache we ventured down to butchers knife, coliseum, Norman’s and centre slide which caused a load if fun and loads of satisfaction with coliseum.
