Emergency Blog about the Gat- Anya Sachs

Yesterday we had our keener river trip to the Gatineau river. The drive up usually takes around 2 hours, but it felt like an eternity. With all the road closures, the drive up took around 4 hours in a cramped van. I definitely took a lot of naps. We finally got to the Gat shortly after 12, and ate lunch at the put in. Finally we got to the first rapid, Lucifers. My favourite part of the rapid is the big retentive hole, which luckily, I got trashed in. After that we made our way down the rest of the river, took out and got greasy poutine, which was the highlight of my day.
