How to go fast on race day Wednesday by Connor Gagliano

First of all every Wednesday at keners is race day. You scout the rapid to see where the fastest line is. When you are in your not and ready to start racing you get in line at the starting point. You will get more speed of the start if you use your paddle. When you are at the start and the clock is counting down you get into race mode. When the say start you push with your paddle and start paddling as fast as you can. When you get on line where you scouted you paddle really hard downstream. When you finish the race you are happy wether or not you won or lost. You wait for all of your friends at the bottom to compare scores. Next is the boater cross race. The boater cross is where multiple people race at the same time down the rapid. You need to use the same start as the times race. The only difference is you can actually see the results when you finish. These are some tips to racing you can use if you want to win in races.
