How to eat healthy on the river by Noah Harley

How to eat healthy when on the river.

When your away on the river for long periods of time it may be a challenge to eat healthy foods. So here is a not so helpful guide for foods to avoid and to eat for a day on the water.

When packing drinks you want to only grab 2 sodas each and of your feeling particularly fancy you can make them all diets soda. Also bring a full jug of lemonade to put in your boat to stay well hydrated.

For your snacks you’ll want to bring only one bag of Carmel popcorn, some Cheetos and any type extremely sugary candy to keep your energy high and mighty for the whole day. (You must eat them consistently tho)

Your lunch will need to consist of all 4 essential food groups syrups, chocolates, candy and backed goods. So your going to make a sandwich with chocolate croissants or cookies as bread, a Hershey’s chocolate nut bar, a stick of fudge and as as a sauce it has to be real 100 percent maple syrup from Quebec specifically.

You should probably pack yourself a dessert to reward yourself after being so healthy and working hard. I would personally recommend a coffee flavoured ice cream in a cooler bag to keep it nice and cool for the day.

That will conclude my blog on how to eat healthy when on the river.

(Disclaimer these are not real facts but my personal perfect meal, snacks and drinks for a day).
