Start off by doing cross bow strokes to get a good technique. Once you think your crossbow is good start doing it on edge and stomping your body downwards, twisting your head, and getting the bow under the water with a twist.
To do a double pump put the boat on edge and with a strong forward paddle stroke lifting your feet up and throwing them down into the water twisting your body until you are up right.
For a loop a double pump is needed. Once in a bow stall pull your paddle up through the water making the boat go down into the water, the boat will automatically push back up, when this occurs throw your body upwards then forward throwing the boat over your body. once the boat is fully over your body throw your weight back onto the stern finishing the loop.
These three components are needed for the phonix monkey. paddle forward gathering speed then do the first stroke of the double pump but instaed of doing the second part of the double pump quickly twiast your body and do a cross bow into a loop.
