During my second week at keeners I have improved my freestyle skills greatly. At the beginning of the week, I struggled to roundhouse, but towards the end I was landing blunts! This week was particularly exciting because we got to go to the movies! We saw spider man: across the spider verse, the sequel to into the spider verse. In addition to seeing a movie, we got to go to Walmart and pick up some snacks. Thursday was beat down Thursday, and I got a few good surfs in right side Phil’s! I was nervous to drop in, but eventually decided to with motivation and encouragement from my friends! This has been one of the most fun weeks of my life, and I am looking forward to paddling with my friends this weekend and next week!
