Taking Risks

At the beginning of Keeners, we were told not to take any stupid chances. I interpreted that as don’t go beyond your skill level. So for the past 2 weeks I have taken the same risks as I have before I came to Keeners. I haven’t changed with my skill level. Things changed last Big Water Beatdown Thursday when Thomas told me that “life belongs to the risk takers”. For the past couple of days I haven't felt much improvement on the first week and a half. So now that those words have been imposed on me, this week I am gonna take more risks. That doesn't quite mean that I am gonna do things that are out of my skill level and will get me injured. I will however try and take new lines, bigger lines and try new tricks for the next week.
