Jurassic Week - Ryan Jenkins

Yesterday was the start Keener theme week, and the theme for this session was Jurassic week. There are three teams: Velociraptor(my team), Indominus-Rex, and Tyrannosaurus-Rex. The first challenge was race where one member had to race down two sections of rapids while the other team members had to try and slow down the others racers with their boats. Team Velociraptor took first, followed by team Indominus-Rex, and then team Tyrannosaurus-Rex. With team Velociraptor off the to an early lead the second day of competition began like every day, but with a new challenge awaiting us after lunch. The challenge was The Rock Game with a twist, competitors had to shuttle rocks from shore to a sandbar a short distance away. This only seems easy until you find out that you must use the rock to sink you down to the bottom, and then walk across the bottom with only one breath. This was a very difficult challenge, but also very rewarding when you completed it. Team Velociraptor also won this challenge. With team Velociraptor of to a strong lead the week of challenges continues.
