Hey there! It's me, Jordan, again signing in for my second blog post here at keeners! It's crazy how fast this past week came and went. This week was amazing; between getting a loop on satler's on big water beat down thursday, homing in on my kickflips, and getting second in the B class today for competition friday, I would say that it was a very successful week! Today was competition friday and I had a couple bad rides on push button and baby face, I reedemed myself by scoring a fourteen on my last ride on push button that pulled me into second place! I have improved so much even just from last week; I am now comfident that I can catch the waves 100% of the time and my rides are getting longer and smoother. We have been working really hard on our edge control and it has helped me with my control on the waves as well as on my flatspins and shuve its. After seeing my improvement this week, I can't wait to see what I will be able to do next week. I am so fortunate to be able to work with instructors like Stephen Wright, Clay Wright, Joel, Tino, Rafa, and other wonderful kayakers. I know that the people that I meet here as well as the memories I make will stay with me for the rest of my life. I love keeners!
Untill next week,
sincerely,
Jordan
