Yet another week has passed at Keenerville and things are great. The weather has been staying nice and warm but the downside to that, is that the water level keeps on dropping and probably won't rise anytime soon. Monday was a day like any other. On Tuesday though, we went to the movies, which many of the Keeners enjoyed. Wednesday was race day. We raced through the Lorne rapid, in addition to the same race sites as last week. In both races I started out in the front but fell behind. On Big Water Beatdown Thursday I psyched myself up to surf in right side Phil's but as soon as I got in, my skirt imploded. We also learned to seal launch, which I didn't do well. On Competition Friday I tied with two other White House members for the first place spot in the Push Button Competition. This week I got my flat spins down pretty well and am hoping to start learning how to do tricks like roundhouses and or loops. There is so much to learn at Keeners and it's even a little bit frustrating that I only have one more week. There's only one more week, so I plan to make it count!
