Hello Dear Readers,
My name is Jordan and I'm a Keener here for the first time! I really love it here so far; every day is a new adventure about to unfold. The words "Anything can be possible just around the river bend" have never been more true. Today's adventure was Competition Friday, and it was my first competition ever. For the competition each kayaker got three tries on the wave for 45 seconds each during which time the kayaker tries to do as many tricks as possible. Each trick recieves a score and the points add up to get a final score. I was in the B class and this was my first competition so I was happy with my score of 4; I got recieved 1 point for catching the wave and 3 points for getting a 180 on the wave. Today was a first for me, but it definitely won't be the last. I can't wait to see what tomorrow holds, and what unfolds just around the river bend.
