Whirlpools
We slowly approached the quiet beasts after a hearty lunch the water leading to them was soft, glassy and swift.we round he bend and I see a surging eddy but nothing more. Steve-o gave us a briefing on what to do but the fear blocked me from anything , all I could hear was the thump of my heart and my mind questioning my life choices. Steve-o’s last word jolted me back to the present and people slowly started to leave the eddy I followed behind. As I was moving slowly to the rushing waters the first couple people entered the eddy. As soo as T entered the eddy a whirlpool sucked him down into nothingness. A few seconds later he poped up fear on his face. I did not enter the whirlpools for a short while after that. After about 10 minutes of seeing the dark Magic trash my buddy’s it was my turn, I slowly exited the eddy and began to wait. Soon enough my tail began to slip and then I was gone...... darkness....fear...constant rushing of water , my heart being faster then I could think , this kept going on I could not hold on. I thought “ you need air swim” but I knew I may die if I swam, I began to try to roll up and get air but all I got was swallowing lots of water. It kept going and I thought that was it for me, at the last moment I see light and I roll as hard as I can then... boom I was up, I needed air it was almost like I had to think to breathe I felt like I had my head riped off , the coughing of water and the bright lights made it surreal. I got 30 seconds of down time. It sucked
