Jordan's 1st Week

It's hard to believe my first week here at Keeners has finally ended. I came the last week of a session and am leaving two weeks into this next one, so this past week was really busy. On Wednesday we went on a road trip to Lachine, an 8 hour long drive to Montreal with waves that somehow top the Ottawa's. Despite being an exhausting day, I managed to get 9 surfs, and even rescued a swimmer in between. On Big Joe, the main wave, there is a green pit, which gives the chance for massive air. I actually stuck my first real airscrew towards the end. The rest of the week was almost just as interesting, such as loop attempts in Sattler's hole for Big Water Beat down, and a competition on Garb. The weekend was spent filming, lasting until it was too dark to see. Its good to be back, and I'm looking forward to more days getting to know everyone who just came in last night.
