Gibs second blog!

Hello everyone, this is Gibs from South Korea, today was Big water beatdown bacon Thursday! It was a lot of fun. I started off surfing left side phils then right side phils. I had a very long and trashy beatdown in right side however it wasnt a good enough beatdown to win beat down of the day.

The Hunger Games at Keenerville have been very fun. Robertson's is winning and will hopefully take home the gold medal. (First Prize is Freezies or Bacon for the whole house) After lunch today we went down the river and stopped at the bottom of Butcher's knife where there are alot of crazy whirlpools that we swam in. There were some interesting moments when Thomas was in the Whirlpools for around 40 seconds! He forsure won beatdown of the day.

My tricks have been getting better quickly which is very cool. I have made my flatwater loops and blunts better. My favorite wave is Garb at the Lorne rapids. It is a very fast and foamy wave that is great for doing big tricks.

Thank you to my parents for sending me to this great great great kayaking camp. This has by far been my best summer vacation.
