How to deal with being homesick- Joshua Mendes 

  1. Call or video call your parents.
  2. Talk to your keener mom about it, they’ll likely be able to comfort you.
  3. Talk to your friends about it, they may also have some ways to deal with it.
  4. Get a good nights sleep, sometimes when your tired you are more emotional. That may mean going to bed before curfew, which is fine. 
  5. Continue routines from home such as reading before bed.
  6. Bring something that comforts you from home, such as a stuffed animal
  7. Give yourself a big hug, sometimes thats all you need.
  8. And finally, don’t bottle up your emotions inside.
